There are of course other symptoms of indigestion that you should become aware of. Symptoms and Signs of Heartburn There is a list of symptoms you can learn to recognize regarding heartburn. Pain in your chest area, which can often feel like a burning sensation, or a restricting sensation is a symptom of heartburn. You will find that this sign will most often occur when you lie down shortly after you have eaten, or even while you are sleeping. Acid regurgitation is also a symptom and a sign of possible heartburn. You may even show signs of having heartburn in your arms. These are all signs and symptoms of possible heartburn. Pain in your upper abdomen is often a symptom of indigestion. This symptom can be combined with belching, which is another symptom of indigestion.
