By Leeanne Utiger
Would you know the difference between heartburn or a heart attack. Symptoms of heartburn and symptoms of an angina or heart attack can be very similar. This article will go into some detail on what the symptoms are for angina heartburn, and then also how to know whether you are experiencing heartburn or a heart attack.

Symptoms of Angina Heartburn
There are a few symptoms of angina heartburn which you should learn to become aware of, just in case you experience angina heartburn at any given future time.

A typical symptom of angina heartburn is experiencing a burning pain behind your breastbone. You may also suffer having the same sort of pain in the mid section of your back. This is also a symptom of angina heartburn. There are other places around your body where you can experience one form of pain or another. Each of these pain symptoms can be symptoms of angina heartburn. You should learn how to recognize these symptoms of angina heartburn. Other areas where these pain symptoms of angina heartburn may occur are in your upper abdomen or even in your heart. If the chest pain is brought on by some form of exercise, then this could very well be a symptom of angina. This is due to a shortage of oxygen being carried in your blood to your heart.

Those are the symptoms that you should learn about and become conscious of regarding angina and heartburn. Below I am going to give you some information regarding how to tell if you are suffering from heartburn or are in fact having a heart attack.

Heart Attack or Heartburn?
Heartburn and a Heart Attack can have very similar symptoms. So if you do not know what the different and varying symptoms are that can pinpoint whether in fact you are suffering heartburn, or are in fact experiencing a heart attack, I suggest you continue to read this article further.

Both with heartburn and a heart attack, you can experience chest pain which can be a burning sensation, just as I have talked about earlier in the article.

Pain that indicates a possible heart attack, is far more severe and is very prolonged, moreso than the pain you will experience from having heartburn. If the pain you are suffering from is felt in the center of your chest, which also appears to be spreading down into your arms and possibly into your lower jaw, you are more than likely experiencing and having a heart attack, as opposed to having heartburn. If you find you do experience this and then it happens again, make sure you have medical attention as soon as possible. Heart attacks are not something one should mess around with, nor simply ignore. A heart attack can be a life threatening situation to be in.

If you have any of these symptoms, I suggest you speak to your local or family doctor about them immediately. He or she will be able to examine and assess your condition and give you a professional opinion on what it is you are suffering from. Whether that be heartburn, or in fact a heart attack.

You may know of a person who appears to experience regular heartburn. Suggest to them that they seek medical attention. If you or another seem to be coping with heartburn on a regular basis, it may very well be something more serious you are coping with - something such as heart attacks.

Become conscious of the foods you are eating and your alcohol consumption.. These two things can limit heartburn and possibly avoid heart attacks.
