Heartburn During Pregnancy - 4 Week Pregnant And Heartburn

While you are going through a pregnancy, you will want to be as comfortable as is possible. Heartburn can add to any other irritations you may be suffering from due to being pregnant. Pregnancy does many things to a womans body. During a pregnancy women will experience hormone changes, which can in turn change a womans emotional state of mind and wellbeing. A woman will also go through body changes which can get them down as well. Now, you imagine throwing a condition such as heartburn into this equation. Heartburn can often occur for the first 4 weeks during a pregnancy. You may very well end up with a very uncomfortable and depressed mother to be on your hands during the time she is pregnant. This article is for both women who may suffer from heartburn during a pregnancy and those people close to her. Sometimes it will take a 'third party' to see the signs and symptoms of heartburn during a pregnancy or in the very least recognize before the pregnant woman will herself, especially during the first 4 weeks - simply because she has so many other things going on due to the pregnancy. Heartburn often occurs in pregnant women due to hormone changes that occur during pregnancy. Pregnancy will produce a hormone called Progesterones which can create a higher possibility of heartburn. Pregnant woman will also tend to feel very bloated. This is also a symptom of heartburn. Don't forget, as a pregnant woman, you will experience the symptoms of heartburn that any other person will experience. You just may suffer more from heartburn than someone else you know that may also have heartburn problems. This once again, can come back to the change in hormones. Most pregnant woman will experience heartburn within 4 weeks of their pregnancy. After this 4 week period, they may be lucky enough to not have any recurring bouts of heartburn, yet at the end of this 4 week period, there is no guarantee that a pregnant woman will not again suffer from heartburn. Many things come into the equation of concerning whether or not your pregnancy will be full of ongoing heartburn attacks. If you find after 4 weeks of being pregnant you are still suffering from heartburn, I suggest you try some natural remedies to alleviate it. 4 weeks is long enough to put up with heartburn before taking more constructive action. Prior to the end of this 4 week period, you can try a few lifestyle changes to alleviate and control any heartburn you may be experiencing during your pregnancy. Try to eat smaller meals, and avoid laying down as soon as you have finished eating. These simple, yet effective techniques really do help with prevention of heartburn and acid reflux. When you are pregnant, it is advisable to learn about how you can completely help yourself and your unborn baby. There are many things you can include in your daily routine to help eliminate or keep away conditions such as heartburn. If you find that eating small meals do not help entirely during this 4 week time, perhaps change the foods you are eating. It is always best to stay away from foods that have a high fat quantity in them. This type of food is not a healthy diet to be eating during a pregnancy anyway. Eliminate or moderate any such foods. You can introduce herbal teas into your daily routine. Herbal tea, such as Chamomile, Ginger and Spearmint Tea are all very good natural ingredients and substances for relief of heartburn, as well as for prevention of heartburn. Herbal teas are very safe and efficient for you to drink while you are pregnant. If you drink herbal tea when you first discover you are pregnant, you could even be lucky enough to not suffer any heartburn, or very limited heartburn in the first 4 weeks of your pregnancy. There are of course other alternatives to using natural or even homeopathic remedies to alleviate heartburn during a pregnancy. It is safe to purchase an over the counter antacid for heartburn while you are pregnant. However, beware that during a pregnancy antacids should only be taken for a short period of time and the instructions MUST be read and fully understood. It is a good idea to speak to your family doctor or carer you are under while pregnant first. He or she will be able to advise you further on your heartburn condition and how you can possibly alleviate any heartburn or symptoms of heartburn safely and effectively.
